Hey there! This is my new website. Here you can find out a little about me and just about anything related to my music—info about the three Pilar French albums, who played on them, and who shares the stage. . . This last one is important because I am constantly blessed with getting to play with musicians who are very accomplished in their own right and many people who help behind the scenes. They each have their own stories—so check out the “About” page. It’s my favorite!
Lately, I have been hard at work putting together a new cd, Deliver. It’s pressed and ready to go. Now we just need to celebrate with a cd release party so we can recreate what we did in the studio. So what’s “Deliver” about? The happier side of life. . . it was time to write a series of songs that just appreciate “having,” as opposed to “not having.” Plus our music stretches in different directions from the last cd, which was heavier and a bit darker in tone.
In addition to getting solid music from the usual suspects I play with—Tony Howard, Jeff Koch and Sean Nowland—we also have guest appearances from great musicians such as Jean Pierre Garau, Rachel Taylor Brown, Todd Bayles, and Marilee Hord. So there’s cello, accordion, violin, harmonies, and awesome keys. The cd was produced by Rob Stroup at 8 Ball Studio. Album art was created by Tammy Paladeni from some photos taken by photographer, Stacey Chase. Go to reverbnation.com/pilarfrench to get a free copy of the title track. It’s just my way of saying thank you to everyone who continues to support my passion for music. Read even more about Deliver
